This route can be adjusted from eight to fifteen days or more, depending on your schedule; or we can do it the opposite direction, which is a good idea if you are starting and ending your trip in Marrakech.

This particular trip covers the highlights of the entire country including the Imperial Cities (Rabat, Meknes, Fez, and Marrakech), along with the Sahara Desert.

Day 1: Arrive Casablanca (AT)

Upon arriving into the Casablanca Airport (CMN), you’ll be picked up and taken to your hotel for the evening.

If you arrive into Casablanca early that day, it can be a good idea to head to the capital city of Rabat.

Another option is to simply combine both days so that you continue onward to Fez.

Day 2: Rabat | Meknes | Volubilis | Fez (D) (4hrs)

Today, you’ll travel through Rabat and onward to Meknes, one of Morocco’s lesser-visited Imperial Cities.

Here we shall visit the easily most beautiful Bab or gateway, in all of the Maghreb – the Bab Mansour.

From here to the El Heri es-Souani – the granary of huge vaulted structures and stables built by Moulay Ismail’s soldiers next to a pool fed by underground channels that brought fresh water all the way from the distant Middle Atlas Mountains; the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum and the Place el-Hedim to see the famous State-owned stallion stables of Haras where these Arabo-Berber horses are bred.

Thirty minutes away from Meknes are the Roman Ruins of  Volubilis ,the city of really ancient olive presses, mansions, incredible mosaics, monumental arches and Corinthian columns where you’ll have a real sense of Roman lifestyle and of that of a subsequent medieval Berber town ,then we will visit  the sacred town of Moulay Idriss, which sits perched overlooking the ruins.

You’ll arrive to Fez in the later afternoon.

Day 3: Fez (Private Guided Tour)

Today  you will start exploring the oldest city in Morocco, walking in its alleys and small streets.

Our visit starts by visiting the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish headquarter, and the first Mellah (old fashioned market) built during the 16th century.

We will ensure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region, the Tanneries, the Attarine museum and Mulay Idriss mausoleum.

After lunch, you will visit the tiles cooperative and then experience a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fez.

Day 4: Fez -Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga (D) (7hrs)

After breakfast you will travelling towards Ifran, a beautiful village in the mountains, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco”,Midelt and then to Merzouga.

During this journey you’ll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains.

Stopping at Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest – the largest in Morocco –After sometime within the forest, your journey continues to Merzouga along the magnificent hills and mountains of the Atlas,you’ll notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidia.

Here you will have lunch and enjoy the Berber hospitality.

Afterwards, you will travel along the luxuriant Ziz Valley, stopping for more panoramic views along the way to Erfoud and Rissani.

Day 5:  Sahara Desert (D) (3hrs)

After breakfast, you’ll take the 4*4 for a tour to the caves where the fossils of natural desert are found ,then taking the road used by Paris Dakar rally and pass through the desert with its black volcanic rocks where we will take team with the touareg family, then we arrive at the Khamlia village famous for its black population from Africa and their music, this village is also famous for the music and the dance festival that takes place every year during the first week of august then we go back to the hotel, you’ll start your camel ride to spend an overnight on the desert camp with Berber music and sand boarding.

Day 6: Merzeouga- Rissani – Dades Valley – Skoura (D) (5hrs)

This morning, you’ll be able to rise with the sunset to grab some photos before hopping back onto the camels for the short ride back to the hotel.

You’ll then head through Rissani, before continuing on the road to Tinjedad for lunch. En route to Skoura, you can choose to drive up into either the Todra Gorge or Dades Valley.

Tonight, you’ll be staying in the Skoura palm grove, known as the Valley of Kasbahs.

If you would rather not go to Skoura, a stay in the Dades Valley is always a sublime option.

In the winter months and on the 4-star Deluxe version of this trip, travelers will have the option to spend the night in the Dades Valley or in Ouarzazate.

Day 7 : Skoura- Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech (D) (5hrs)

After breakfast in the hotel, you will travel through the  Ouarzazate, known as the Moroccan Hollywood, passing by Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco, built by T-hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chiefs during the beginning of the 20th Century.

It used to be one of his stops during his long travel from the Sahara to Marrakech ,now used as one of the UNESCO heritage site.

After that we will shift the way to cross high atlas mountains full of panoramic views and attractive Berber villages all along the way till Marrakech.

Day 8: Marrakech Guided Visit

After breakfast, you can start exploring Marrakech «the red city of Morocco”.

We will ensure that you see the most important sites of historical and cultural interest, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palacel.

After Lunch at a restaurant near the square, you will walk through the souks and view hundreds of handicrafts. On the afternoon, you will have some free time to wonder by yourself the other parts of the city.

Day 9 : Marrakech to Casablanca (3hrs)

Depending upon your flight time tomorrow, you can stay in Marrakech or travel to Casablanca this afternoon.

Day 10 : Depart Casablana (AT)
